PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Junckers solid hardwood whalebone planks are produced in short lengths making them suitable for pattern floor installations, e.g. herringbone.
The planks are made as one whole floor board, tongued and grooved on all four sides. The planks are available as right- and left hand staves.

Drying method:
The floorboards are kiln dried.
Average moisture content, MC:
Oak: 8% (±2%).
Black Oak: 9% (±2%).
NH3 treatment of Black Oak means that MC can´t be measured by using a conventional moisture meter but must be measured by the “dry weight method”.
Landing Deviation: 0.2 mm (0.3 mm in localised areas).
Floorboard ends: Right angled at ±0.3 mm.

Top finish: Two-component polyurethane lacquer.
Total film thickness: Min. 40 µ.
Oak Pearl:
Priming: Water based transparent stain.
Intermediate treatment: Several coats of UV-light curing lacquer.
Top finish: Two-component polyurethane lacquer, ultra matt.
Total film thickness: Min. 40 µ.
Black Oak:
Pre-treatment: NH3-treatment to achieve the dark colour.
Intermediate treatment: Several coats of UV-light curing lacquer.
Top finish: Two-component polyurethane lacquer, ultra matt.
